The struciure and working principle of frequency and speed converting system are introduced. With stepless speed regulation ,this system can auotoniatically regulate flow rate of pump and outlet pressure of pumping station to realize automation control of transportation process without throttling during opera tion. With (his system.the transportation cost can be greatly reduced. The authors consider that this con verting system is an important and indispensible equipment to oil pipeline.
