永顺县优质石英型砂矿床地质特征及成矿条件分析

GEOLOGIC FEATURE OF A SUPER QUALITY FOUNDRY QUARTZ SAND DEPOSIT IN YONGSHUN COUNTY AND ANALYSIS OF ITS METALLOGENIC CONDITONS

永顺县石英型砂,是一种具有“圆、纯、光”等特点的优质天然硅砂,属于特级品的铸钢用树脂砂类型。矿床赋存在第四系底部,直接底板为寒武系陆屑云岩或陆屑灰岩。矿体呈大透镜状或似层状。矿床成因属第四纪残积型。在区域上,砂矿体分布严格受寒武系地层、第四纪地貌以及中低纬度的亚热带气候控制。

The foundry quartz Sand in Yongshun county is a Kind ofsuper quality quartz sand, characteristic of 'round, pureand smooth', which can be used as a special grade resin sandfot cast steel. The deposit occurs in the basal part of Quarternary System, the Cambrian terrigenous clastic dolomite or terrigenous clastic limestone acting as immediate floor. The orebodies take large scale lenticnlar shapes or bed-like shapes. The origin of the deposit belongs to Quarternary eluvial placer type. The regional distribution of the quartz sand deposits is strictly controlled by the Cambrian stratum, the Quarternary landform and the subtropical climate at middle-low latitude.
