Male genital infections are considered to be harmful to spermatozoa and male fertility.Various pathophysiologic evidence resulting from experimental and clinical studies begin to explain the effects of pathogens and immunologic events on spermatozoa of the patients.Recent studies have identified that many mediators(cytokines and ROS) are responsible for specific molecular processes in genital infections which particularly affect the function of spermatozoa.
