摘要
在西部大开发中，高等教育起着举足轻重的作用。在实施科教兴国与西部大开发战略的过程中，高等教育应该抓住千载难逢的机遇，实现促进西部大开发与高教大发展的双重跨越。
Higher education plays a decisive role in the west development. In the course of the implementing strategies, science and education offers the country golden opportunity and help to achieve dual improvements for the development of the west and the development of higher education with effective ideas and countermeasures.
