从《楚游日记》看湘南旅游资源及其开发——纪念徐霞客逝世350周年

VIEWS OF THE RESOURCE TOURISM AND EXPLORATION IN HUNAN FROM“JOURNAL OF TRAVELS IN HUNAN”——To commemorate the 350th anniversary of Xu Xiake's death

本文以《楚游日记》为依据,并结合现代旅游业的发展,对湘南的山、水、洞及风土人情等自然、人文风光旅游资源进行了分析评价;对《楚游日记》给湘南旅游资源开发的启示作了肯定,并指出湘南旅游资源开发必须突出地方特色,旅游路线的安排必须精心规划,旅游景区的开发建设必须加速,旅游宣传必须加强.

Xu Xiake is an extraordinary traveller and geographer of the Ming Dynasty.Asearlier as 353 years ago,when he travelled in the southern part of Hunan Province hehad gone through all kinds of hardships and difficulties.During his travelling,he wrote“Journal of Travels in Hunan”,which described much of what he saw and experiencedalong a totuous mountainous path.In his book,Hunan's charming peaks,crystal water,weirdly shaped caves,and local conditions and customs were also described.In orderto recall his great progress,this paper,based on the journal,reviews his experience;it praise his analysis and evaluation of Hunan's resource of tourism;it approves ofthe instructions and enlightenment given by Xu Xiake's journal in exploration of theresources of Hunan's tourism;it points out the prominance of the local characteristics;and it suggests that the regions for viewing and for outings should be developed quicklyand advertisement for travelling should be designed.
