通过杭州市南山路街区北端的传统居住区的环境调查与传统居区中独具个性的景观特质的分析评价 ,论述了城市景观特质保存的历史见证价值 ,地区的标志与行为识别价值 ,平民生存权利和价值取向的文化象征价值 ,城市风貌表现价值与民俗旅游价值。因而在旧城改造中应予以关注和保存。

This paper expounds the preservation of the nature of the urban landscape for its values in evidence, local landmarks, identity, people's living right, culture, urban style and folk tourism, hopefully to make those factors be concerned with from the society when renovating the old cities.
