团结和发展应该是民族院校永恒不变的任务 ,要以加强质量意识和进行素质教育 ,实现全面发展为目标 ,为各少数民族地区发展政治、经济、文化建设 ,培养和造就高素质的领导干部 ,以及掌握现代科学技术的一专多能的复合型人才。

Unity and development is an eternal theme of ethnic higher learning institutions in China.It should be oriented to the all-round development of students for the following two tasks:1.Leading figures with modern consciousness for the political,economic and cultural constructions in ethnic area.2.Professionals equipped with modern science and technology for accelerating social-economic development in ethnic area.
