A Reflection on Overall Development of Quality-Oriented Education

本文在论述全面推进素质教育的时代背景、重要性、紧迫性及其内涵的基础上，提出推进素质教育是全过程、全方位的系统工程，第一课堂据有主阵地、主渠道地位，教师应发挥主导作用，学生应内强素质，外塑形象，提高综合素质。

This paper attempts to discuss the contemporary background, importance, urgency and connotation of quality - oriented education and, based on this, indicates that quality - oriented education is a systematic engineering requiring attention at different levels and scales. The author believes that the first classroom should be given priority and teachers should play a leading role, thus intensifying the internal quality of students and creating their external image.
