“丝绸之路”是从汉代的张骞带人访问中亚时开辟的。张骞回国后报告大宛有好马 ,在贰师城。贰师城就是今日的奥什城。奥什在“丝绸之路”上占有重要位置。

Zhang Qian opened up the Silk Route in the Han dynasty when he with followers went to Central Asia.After coming back he reported that Dawan(Ferghana) had good horsis in the city of Ershi, which is now Aushi.Aushi occupied an important position in the Silk Route.
