摘要
“九州”原为虚指，后来才逐渐具体化为九个大型的行政区划。关于九州的资料仅见于战国时期，文献诸说很不相同、大致可分为《周礼》派九州说与《河图》派九州说。为辨异解疑．笔者列举了大量古籍文献资料进行辨析、考证，认为《河图》派九州说之九州多能在山东境内泰沂山系一带找到地名来源；而《周礼》派九州说．则是战国时期由于疆土扩大和对历史的遗忘而误读《河图》派九州说之产物。
Nine States'doesn't really refer to nine states. It was later gradually concretized as nine large administrative districts. The records about 'Nine States'were only found during the period of Warring States. The quite different records were generally classified as two different theories by schools of 'Zhou Li' and school of 'He Tu' respectively. Here,as a result of analysis and textual researches on the basis of ample historical records,the author concludes that the original names of 'Nine States' theory by 'He Tu' can be mostly found in Shangdong Province,while 'Zhou Li''s theory is the result of misreading the theory by School of He Tu because of the extended territory during the period of Warring States and forgetting part of the history.
