Prospects on the Develpment of the World Education in the 21st Century

新世纪世界教育会出现六种主要的发展趋势：一是科学教育与人文教育融合；二是教育的本土化与国际化相结合；三是教育普及与提高教育质量并重；四是教育的民主与民主的教育进一步成为现代教育发展的主流；五是教育信息化、网络化促进教育的现代化；六是学习化社会逐步形成，终身学习体系日臻完善。

The development trends of the world education in the 21st century shows six main points; 1) the fusion of scientific education and human education; 2) the combination of nationalization and inter- nationalization; 3) equal stresses on both popularization of education and the improvement of educational quality; 4) educational democracy and democratic education becoming the principal aspects of modem educational development; 5) the promotion of educational informationalization and advanced network to educational modernization; 6) learning society forming progressively and the system of life-long learning perfecting gradually.
