the author analyzed the method evolution of decision supporting system and the concept of data warehouse. Technology method becomes a key point to realizing a decision supporting system. Since the data on Internet are highly extended and sufficient the challenge factor to a decision is partially depend on how well a business build a component-based application other than only the information itself. This article discussed the stimulating factor to the evolution of decision supporting systems.
