Indexes of rainfall characteristics for different growing stages in winter wheat were determined through analyzing precipitation variation, water assumption,and correlation between them in winter wheat season in this paper. Based on these analyses, a dynamic irrigation management system was determined. On this system, the pre sawing irrigation volume is determined on rainfall characteristics from summer to seeding time, and the time for first irrigation in spring is determined on rainfall characteristics from sawing to jointing stage.
