摘要
光波导Febry Perot(F P)调制器具有调制灵敏度高的特点 ,在光电传感、光纤通信中有重要的应用价值。运用部分相干光理论 ,导出了考虑光源光谱宽度的光波导F P调制器灵敏度表达式 ,讨论了光谱宽度对灵敏度的影响。由分析得到 ,对于确定的光源光谱宽度 ,波导端面反射率只有取合适的值 。
Optical waveguide Fabry Perot modulators(OWFPM) are of great value to optoelectronic sensing and optical fiber communications for their high modulation sensitivity. The expression of modulation sensitivity of OWFPM considering spectrum width of light source is obtained by using the theory of partially coherent light. The effect of the light spectrum width on the modulation sensitivity is discussed. By analysis it is shown that the maximal modulation sensitivity comes from an appropriate end reflection coefficients of OWFPM for a certain light source spectrum width.
