区域形象是人们对某一区域的总体评价, 它对区域社会经济发展有着重要影响作用。本文提出广州旅游形象建设体系包括旅游形象定位、形象项目确定、形象项目建设三个组成部分, 并依据广州旅游区形象定位的三条原则、四种方法, 认为广州旅游形象定位为国际生态大都市、中国南大门、岭南山水文化旅游中心。为此,
Area image is people′s comprehensive evaluation of an area, which has an important effect on the social and economic development of thearea. This paper proposes that the construction system of Guangzhou′s tourist image should consist of the orientation of tourist image, the determination of image projects, and the under taking of the projects. Based on three principles and four ways for the orientation, the paper holds that Guangzhou′s tourist image should be oriented towards an international ecological metropolis, China′s southern gate, and the tourist centre of scenic and cultural tourism south of the Five Ridges. Five aspects are suggested for the construction of Guangzhou′s tourist image.
