A STUDY AND ASSESSMENT OF THE DISTRIBUTON OF VEGETATION IN THE MIYUN RESERVOIR BASIN OF CHAOBEI RIVER BY REMOTE SENSING

摘要 本研究应用卫星遥感技术将区内植被解译成16种类型,编绘了植被分布图,侧重研究和评价了植被蓄水保土的功能。结论是,流域植被生态功能较好,对密云水库水源保护十分有利。提高植被覆盖率的限制因素是水,应从封山育草开始,促进植被次生演替的进行,才能确保密云水库的长久利用。 Using the technique of satellite remote sensing, the vegetation of that destrict was classified into 16 types; a vegetation distribution map has been made and the water and soil conservation functions of the vegetation was studied assessed. The conclusions were: the ecological function of the vegetation in that river valley was good enough to' preserve the water resource of Miyun Reservoir, Water is the limiting factor for the coverage rate of the vegetation. The hillside should be closed to facilitate the secondary succession of the vegetation in order to ensure the continuous use of the Miyun Reservoir.
