关于高校扩招的几点思考

Reflections on Enrolment Expansion of Colleges and Universities

1999年开始的我国高校大幅扩招 ,在家庭、高校以及社会各界引起强烈反响 ,扩招最初的动因是为了带动消费、缓解就业压力 ,但扩招到底是否具有内在客观必然性 ,是否具有长期的战略选择意义 ,应采取什么对策和措施搞好扩招 。

The greatly expanded enrolment of institutions of higher learning in China, which started in 1999, has evoked strong repercussion,in various circles of the society and in families, colleges and universities. The initial factor of the policy is to promote consuming and to alleviate employment pressure. However, whether enrolment expansion possesses internal objective necessity, whether it has long-term strategic significance and what countermeasures should be taken to carry out the policy well are problems needing careful study and probe.
