试论我国高等教育的选择机制及其社会影响

Higher Education in China: Its Selection Mechanism and Social Impacts

高等教育的选择机制，就是使个体人格培养与社会结构需求之间建立合理、公正的联系。但我国目前高教选择机制不能适应市场经济需求。突出表现为选择计划刚性、选择一次性、选择内容一统性。这种选择机制实质上成了中小学校教育的指挥棒，亦不利于市场经济条件下高等教育的发展。文章从多个角度论述了高等教育选择机制的优化及社会保障。

The higher education selection mechanism ought to provide a proper and fair connection be tween individual personality training and social needs. The present higher education selection mechanism in China, however, cannot satisfy the needs of market economy because of its stiff planning, monism and content unification in selection. This selection mechanism, in essence, has misled the primary and secondary school education in China and is harmful to the development of higher education under the conditions of market economy. This essay is an attempt to seek ideal selection mechanisms and their social insurances.
