20世纪70年代末兴起的第三次法律革命是在改革开放和现代化进程中展开的,它对于实现中国的法制现代化意义重大。在这场革命中,作为领导者的中国共产党根据现代化进程中不同阶段对法制的需求,适时提出法制思想,以推进现代化事业。同时,随着现代化进程的推进,新时期党的法制思想经历了产生、发展和深化三个阶段。

The third legal revolution started in the late 1970s has been proceeding in the process of reform and opening up and of the modernization drive. It is of great significance for realizing the modernization of the legal system in China. During the revolution, in accordance with the requirements for the legal system at different stages of the modernization drive, the Chinese Communist Party as the Party in power has put forward proper and timely thoughts concerning the perfection of the legal system so as to facilitate our country's modernization. Meanwhile, a-long with the modernization drive, the Part/s ideas of the legal system have experienced three phases of their shaping, developing and maturing.
