Development of a Control System for Heavy Oil Microreactor A/D Convertor and Port Control

A PC based microreactor control system is developed with Visual C++ 6 0 under Microsoft Windows 95/98 environment. The SCADA(System Configuration and Data Aquariums) system controls the reactor through an A/D D/A card. The A/D D/A card receives instructions through its I/O port. We develop a class to encapsulate all I/O operations in SCADA system. This paper demonstrates the object oriented method used in the development of the system and discusses some technical details.
