本文通过分析认为，在工程应用中，激光扩束望远镜的实际作用是调整激光发散角，包括压缩和扩大两个方面。

In laser engineering application, the laser optical systems are often used as a telescope toadjust the divergence angle to satisfy the system specifications. In this paper, the expansion and compression function of the laser optical system are analysed.
