China is experiencing a rapid development nowadays. City renewal is a vital issue in urban construction and one of the most important fields in urban design study and practice. Lots of urban design practices provide us rich references from different viewpoints. Based on this, the paper studies urban design methods and tries to sum up some design principles in city renewal。
