Compus network is the critical point to the informationalized construction of a college ,in the course of the network construction ,the choice of the main network technique is to affect its advanced level and supportive degree to the application of various network multimedia .Based on the developing trend of network,this article makes an analysis and comparison on ATM technique and the exchange technique of the developing billion Ethemet,as well as some issues which needs more attention while upgrading a network.
