大农业生态地质环境学是一门集地质、地理、气候、生态、环境、农业等诸多学科为一体的新兴边缘学科。它以地质学为基础 ,主要开展对土壤、水、大气、气候、地理、地质环境和农作物的调查研究 ,建立土地资源科学评价体系和农作物生态地质环境模式 ,为政府科学规划、布局、管理土地资源和调整产业结构提供科学依据。展望 2 1世纪 ,西部大开发和新一轮国土资源大调查给新疆大农业发展带来了难得的机遇 ,我国加入WTO又面临挑战 ,机遇和困难并存 ,地学和农学结合势在必然。开展新疆大农业生态地质环境调查 ,特别是新疆名优特农产品种植区生态地质调查具有十分广阔的前景。
