摘要
我国对集成电路布图设计给予知识产权保护的客观必要性；依据集成电路布图设计的特性，从分析著作权法、专利法等现有的知识产权各法律部门不能给予其有效保护的角度，阐明其作为一项新的、独立的知识产权，应当制订单行法规予以保护。
The article includes two parts. In one part, it discusses the necessity of protecting the IC Layout Design in China. In the other part, it expresses an idea that China should draft new act to protect the IC Layout Design. It is because the IC Layout Design is a new and independent intellectual property and its protection is not more effective by the ready- made intellectual property law.
