The characteristic of power system protective relaying signal is introduced, all kinds of its teletransmission form are analysed. Analyse shows that the signal digitalization and teletransmission based on optical fiber may be the development trend. Some plans based on optical fiber transmission such as synchronous digital hierarchy(SDH),asynchronous transfer mode(ATM) and interconnection protocol(IP) are suggasted.
