With the non-salient pole permanent magnet linear synchronous motor being cited, the 2-D electromagnetic field and performance analytical expressions are given in detailed based field & circuits method. A “line-line voltage equivalent circuit” is developed to analyze the static performance of PMLSM. Special attention is paid to its structure and the influence of longitudinal end effect and the unbalence of current. It supplies a accurate method for analyzing of PMLWM. It can also be used for other type LSM.
