An empirical analysis to the underdevelopment of western regions resulted from the insufficiency of monetary capital formation

Since the reform and opening up, the disparity between eastern and western regions has kept on enlarging. The reason for this situation is multiple. This paper analyses the issue from two aspects:the insufficiency of capital and the imbalance of money distribution, and provides several recommendations in carrying out the strategic financial adjustment to develop the western regions.
