摘要
Beginning with the definition of the digital library,this paper puts forward an assumption that all information resources can be transformed into digital objects.Based on this assumption,this paper makes a preliminary analysis of the main direction of the researches on digital libraries and the problems therein,and a detailed analysis of the involved metadata problems.
