The value of multiplane transesophageal echocardiography in the diagnosis of cor triatriatum with complete atrial sepatl

目的 评价多平面经食管超声心动图 (MTEE)对房间隔完整的三房心的诊断价值。方法 分析 9例经手术证实的房间隔完整三房心的经胸超声心动图 (TTE)及MTEE声像图表现。结果 9例均系房间隔完整的左房三房心 ,其中 8例为完全型 (Ⅱa型 ) ,1例为部分型 (Ⅰa型 ) ;MTEE对三房心的隔膜位置、开口大小、与肺静脉的关系、房间隔是否完整等的显示较TTE更为直观和逼真。

Objective To evaluate the value of multiplane transesophageal echocardiography (MTEE) for the diagnosis of complete atrial sepatal cor triatriatum.Methods Nine patients with cor triatriatum confirmed by operation,they were examined by transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) and MTEE.Results All patients with complete atrial septal cor triatriatum,8 patients of them were complete (type IIa),1 patient was portial (type Ia).For cor triatriatum the location of septum,the size of orifice,the relation with pulmonary vein,and the integrity of atrial septum can be displayed more dearly and directly by MTEE than by TTE.Conclusions MTEE is more effective for the diagnosis of the cor triatriatum than other anyone.
