摘要
目的 :通过体外细胞研究 ,观察维甲酸和类胡萝卜素对人乳腺癌细胞的作用。方法 :用MTT法观察维甲酸和类胡萝卜素对体外培养的 ER+乳腺癌细胞 MCF- 7和 ER-乳腺癌细胞 MDA-MB- 435 S的抑制作用。结果 :发现维甲酸和类胡萝卜素对乳腺癌细胞的增殖抑制表现出剂量、时间和结构效应以及细胞的特异性。其中 β-胡萝卜素对 ER+和 ER-乳腺癌细胞均有很强的抑制作用 ,而维甲酸和其它 4种类胡萝卜素对 ER+乳腺癌细胞的抑制作用强于 ER-细胞。结论 :β-胡萝卜素对乳腺癌细胞的抑制机制不同于维甲酸和其它 4种类胡萝卜素 。
Objective:The relationship between the effect of retinoic acid (RA) and carotenoids on the proliferation of breast cancer cells and their estrogen receptor (ER) status were studied. Method: MTT assay was used. Result:It was found that β-carotene could inhibit the proliferation of ER+/- breast cancer cells, retinoic acid and other carotenoids (zeaxanthin, astaxanthin, canthaxanthin, zeaxanthin dipalmitate) were more active in ER-positive MCF-7 beast cancer cell line than in ER-negative MDA-MB-435S beast cancer cell line. Conclusion:These results indicate that the mechanism of β-carotene was different from retinoic acid and other carotenoids.
