：In northern Tarim basin, Tertiary salt deposition is the only area of our country in which the salt dome is outlet. The salt dome not only afford a magnificent view but also that is the good seal for oil and gas. Especially the area in which the salt dome isn't outlet is significant for oil and gas reservoir,for instance tne Kala gas field. The paper illustrated the combinatorial relationship between salt deposition and oil and gas. It offered the reservoir types and instruction model those are relative to the salt. This is important for the farther exploration in this area.
