摘要
在忽略放大自发辐射(ASE)和上转过程的情况下,用重迭因子的方法,研究了980nm波段泵浦的掺铒光波导放大器(EDWA’S)的速率方程,得到了其增益的隐式解析解,在此基础上得到了泵浦阈值功率的解析表达式。详细讨论了重迭因子对增益、泵浦阈值功率的影响。
In this paper, neglecting amplified spontaneous emission(ASE) and upconversion process, the rate equation for Erbium-Doped Waveguide amplifiers (EDWA's) pumped with 980 nm wavelength is studied using overlapping factors method, and an analytical implicit gain solution is derived. Based on which an analytical threshold expression of pumping power is also obtained. Effects of overlapping factors on the gain and pumping threshold power are discussed in detail.
