By applying the insidence analysis method of grey system theory to the analysis of maritime accidents, this paper establishes the incidence matrix of maritime accidents and gives a qualitative and quantitative evaluation on the causes of maritime accidents. It provides scientific basis for shipping company and administration to enhance maritime safety management, control and forcast.
