According to analysis and study of the test results , the key factors o f influencing properties of gypsum block wall are installation and construction of gypsum block wall and physicomechanical features of gypsum block. Besides ske tching the general features of gypsum block wall, the paper more systematically elaborates characteristics, formative process of the gypsum block's microstructu re and main factors of influencing physicomechanical features of gypsum block by applying the theory of materials science. Moreover, in order to ensure quality of gypsum block, the paper puts forward problems needing attention in production .
