On January 26, 200l, a great earthquake (Ms = 7.8) took place in Buji in the west seacoast of India. We use the effect of the Sun and the Moon on the Tropic of cancer to discuss the occurrence time of next earthquake. Due to that the Buji area is only one of big earthquake activity on the tropic of cancer in India, it is favorable to circle the earthquake occurrence region.
