摘要
简述了多媒体数据的特点和多媒体数据库研究与发展的现状，并针对基于关系数据模型的多媒体数据库进行了分析，提出了实现多媒体数据管理过程中需要解决的关键性问题，最后讨论了ＦｉｎｄＭｅｄｉａ多媒体数据信息库的实现方案。
This paper introduces the character of the multimedia data and the status of research and developoment in this field. It also makes some analysis for the related multimedia database based on the relation data model. Then the pivotal technologies of the nultimedia database are also provided. At last a realization of multimedia information management system-FindMedia are diacussed.
