摘要
MPEG-2 AAC(ISO/IEC13818-7)是一种新型高效多声道Hi-Fi音频编码标准,在每声道64kbps时重建音质优于MP3和AC-3。分析了它的编码技术特点,着重研究了它的解码流程,讨论了对其关键模块的优化措施。同时提出了基于PC的AAC软件解码播放器的实现方法,对其他类型的音频解码器也具有参考价值。实现了在Pentium II 350、64MB内存的PC机上对AAC(Main Profile)压缩文件的软件解码播放。
MPEG-2 AAC (ISO/IEC 13818-7) is a high efficient coding standard of multi-channel Hi-Fi audio, which provides better reconstructed audio than MP3 and AC-3 at 64kbps per channel. This paper presents the features of this coding technology, concentrates on its decoding process, and discusses some techniques to optimize its key modules. We also discuss the implementation of AAC software real-time decoder on PC, which can serve as a reference for other kinds of software audio decoders. The author has implemented the AAC playback software on a PC with Pentium II 350 CPU and 64MB RAM.
