基于Internet的实时多媒体应用中前向纠错控制策略研究 被引量:3

FORWARD ERROR CONTROL SCHEMES AND UTILITY IN REAL-TIME NETWORKED MULTIMEDIA APPLICATIONS ON THE INTERNET

摘要 基于 Internet的实时多媒体系统中 ,传输过程中的丢包现象会严重影响视频和音频信号的质量 ,对如何减少传输丢包率和如何恢复丢失的数据进行了详细地研究 ,采用了前向纠错控制策略与速率控制算法相结合的方法 ,有效地减小了丢包率和恢复丢失的数据 .研究的工作内容主要是基于 IETF标准 ,并借鉴了 ITU标准 ,对实时网络多媒体系统中的数据传输问题进行了深入的研究 .该方法在实际系统中得到了应用 。 Packet losses decrease the quality of audio and video in real time networked multimedia applications on the Internet. The research work is focused on the schemes about how to reduce the loss rate and how to recover the lost data. The method combining forward error control (FEC) schemes with rate control algorithm can efficiently reduce the loss rate and recover the lost data. The research effort is concerned with the translation of real time multimedia data based on the IETF standard, The method is applied in a real time multimedia system. The result shows that the schemes work very well.
