桐乡市进行了桑苗繁育技术的革新与推广应用 ,室内嫁接体移栽育苗、提高单位面积培苗密度以及利用苗叶养蚕等革新技术 ,对于优良桑树新品种的应用推广、提高单位面积培苗效益、经济效益和社会效益 ;对加快科研成果转化为生产力的速度及蚕业生产起到了积极的作用。

Renovation and popularization of techniques in mulberry sapling propagation were carried out in Tongxiang city,which including transplantation of inside-door grafted sapling,increase in sapling density per unit area of mulberry nursery and utilization of sapling leaves for silkworm rearing.It had resulted in positive effects on the popularization of improved new mulberry varieties,improvement of efficiency in sapling raising per unit,increase of economic and social benefits.Furthermore,it also resulted positive effects on accelerating the transformation of scientific research achievement into productivity.
