X-RAY POLEG-PHASE QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIC FOR ESTIMATING CONTENT OF PRIMARY ROCK-FORMING MINERALS IN VOLCANIC ROCKS

摘要 本文是近年来我们用x射线多相定量方法测定火山岩中主要造岩矿物相对含量的工作小结。 For estimating relative content of primary rock-forming minerals such as alkeli-feldspare, plagioclase, quartz, amphibole and biotite in volcanic rocks, the K-value method by means of X-ray poly-phase quantitative analysis is selected. K-values of the above-mentioned five minerals are deferminated repeatedly using Cu, Co and Fe targent respectively, and the stable average values are obtained, then the standard samples are detferminated using K-value method quantitative analysis. The results show that the relative errors are generally less than 10%, thereby, the results of quantitative analysis are reliable and may be used to divide magma series of volcanic rocks.
