Analysis of the Relationship Between Economic Globalization and “Unificationism”

随着以资本国际化、投资和贸易自由化为特征的经济全球化进程的展开 ,西方社会中出现了一种认为社会主义最终将“趋同”于资本主义的思潮。文章通过对经济全球化和“趋同论”两者的本质及相互关系的分析 ,阐述了社会主义国家所面临的挑战和全球化所带来的发展机遇 ,指出了资本主义在全球化的发展形势下 ,其本身所固有的基本矛盾将更趋激化 ,“趋同论”是对社会历史发展规律歪曲的反映 ,是经济全球化大势中的悖论 ,社会主义终将以自己强大的生命力和远大的发展前途取代资本主义。

With the development of economic globalization characterized by the internotionalization of capital and the liberalization of investment and trade,there has emerged in the West a trend of thought that socialism will be unified with capitalism in the end.The paper analyses the natures of and relationship between economic globalization and “unificationism”,discusses the challenge facing the socialist countries and the opportunity for development brought about by economic globalization,and points out that “unificationism” is a distortion of the development of social history and a fallacy in the general trend of economic globalization because the inherent basic contradiction of capitalism tends to be more and more acute,and socialism,with its powerful vitality and great prospects,is bound to replace capitalism.
