摘要
在分析地区宏观社会经济背景的基础上 ,采用面上资料和问卷调查结果对苏南地区初中教师文化科学知识现状进行了分析。对面上资料的分析表明 ,从总体上看苏南地区初中教师学历和职称总体水平比全国和全省高 ,但区域内部在城乡之间和各市之间存在较大差异。通过对问卷结果的分析则得出了五个方面的结论 :一是初中教师的文化科学知识与其职称高低有比较显著的相关性 ;二是优秀教师比一般教师的文化素质高 ;三是初中女教师文化科学素质略高于男教师 ;四是初中教师的学历进修与学历不合格现状不相适应 ;五是初中教师文化科学知识在总体素质构成中是一个薄弱环节。最后有针对性地提出了七点建议。
On the basis of an analysis of social and economic background of South Jiangsu, the authors,by means of general data and questionnaire,have explored present situation of cultural and scientific knowledge of middle school teachers in South Jiangsu. It is shown that though the formal schooling and technical title of middle school teachers here as a whole are higher than those in whole Jiangsu Province and China,there is an imbalancet between cities and countryside or among Suzhou, Wuxi and Changzhou.It is also shown that: (1)there is a rather noticeable correlation between middle school teachers' cultural and scientific knowledge and their technical title; (2)excellent teachers' basic quality of cultural and scientific knowledge is higher than ordinary teachers'; (3)female middle school teachers' basic quality of cultural and scientific knowledge is slightly higher than male teachers'; (4)there is a rather marked contradiction between middle school teachers' low rate of qualified record of formal schooling and their low rate of vocational studies; (5)in the structure of general quality of middle school teachers, cultural and scientific knowledge is a weak link. In view of these problems the authors have offered some suggestions.
