The structure, process parameters and influencing factors on operation of fluidized bed roaster in an 80?kt/a sulphuric acid plant based on pyrite concentrate containing 50% S are introduced. The roaster has been operated smoothly for a long time. The consumption of pyrite is 0.658?t with 0.497?t of cinder containing 64.46% Fe discharged per tone sulphuric acid. 〔
