APOE基因多态性与单相抑郁症无关联

A study of the association between unipolar depression and polymorphisms of APOE gene

目的 探讨APOE基因与单相抑郁症之间的关系。方法 以73例单相抑郁症患者为研究对象,80例健康人为对照组。用聚合酶链式反应(PCR)扩增技术及限制性片段长度多态性(RFLPs)技术测定研究对象的APOE基因多态性。结果 发现单相抑郁症与APOE基因的多态性之间无关联。结论 APOE基因对上海汉族人群中单相抑郁症的病因可能不起重要作用。

Objectives: To investigate the association between APOE gene and unipolar depression. Method: The genotypes and alleles of APOE gene in 73 unipolar depression patients and 80 healthy controls were examined with PCR and restriction fragment length polymorphisms (RFLPs) technique. Results : The polymorphisms of APOE gene were not associated with unipolar depression. Conclusion: Our results support the APOE gene may not play a major role in the pathogenesis of unipolar depression in Han population in Shanghai.
