文化有两层含义，文化对人格的塑造相应地表现在两个方面，在绝对意义上，文化使人成为社会的人，在相对意义上，文化使一群人和另一群人相区别。不同的文化和相应的人格特征在价值上是相等的，它们之间应该相互尊重和理解。
