：The study investigates Sino-Vietnam border trade within Yunnan province since the building of the People,s Republic of China. A brief introduction and characteristics analysis of Yunnan-Vietnam border trade are provided and the relevant experiences are concluded in this article. In addirion, the author prospects of its future development ond hopes this article will lead to ues for reference for future development of Yunnan economy and successful exploitation of Chinese Western area.
