从增长极理论看我国区域经济的梯度开发——兼论西部大开发的推进策略

Gradient Development of Regional Economy From the Prospective of Development——Some Comments on the Pushing Strategy of Western Development

我国的西部大开发刚刚掀开历史的新篇章 ,具体的做法尚在讨论之中。本文依据区域经济不平衡发展的思路———增长极理论 ,分析指出在西部大开发中应先从小处 (各个中心城市 )着眼 ,积极培育西部经济的增长极 ,再以梯度开发形式渐进推动整个西部区域的发展 。

Western development just opens a new chapter in China's history. Some strategies are still under discussion. On the basis of development pole theory, one of regional imbalance theories, the paper proposes that it should foster development pole of the West, i.e. several central cities of the region, which will push forward the doevelopment of the entire West.
