A new creative example about the chrondogy of one's life——A commentary on The Chronocle of Mister ZHANG Shi-zhai's life by HU Shi

与以往年谱“单记行事” ,只记谱主好处 ,不说谱主坏处不同 ,胡适的《章实斋先生年谱》抓住谱主史学理论家的特点 ,全面深入挖掘谱主在史学理论方面的卓越贡献 ,也揭示和批评了谱主在社会伦理观念上的“卫道”偏见。这使本谱具有重大的学术价值 ,也为年谱学开创了一种新的体例。

The actions had been only recorded',and while the merits of protagonist had been recorded,the demerits of his had been omitted in the chronocle of everybody's life before.Be different from that,HU Shi seized the historical theorist's character of the protagonist,and not only digged overall and deeply the outstanding contributions of the protagonist in historical theory,but also revealed and criticaized the prejudice about'defending traditional moral principles'of the protagonist in socio-ethics in 'The Chronocls of Mister Zhang Shizhai's Life'.That made the chronocle a book with great academic worth,and initiated a new style for the chronology of one's life.
