本文结合历史事实,把高适的《燕歌行》放在盛唐大时代背景之下进行观照,澄清了讽刺说,认为此诗不是为讽刺边将而作,并运用美学理论进行分析,指出此诗成功地于悲壮之中穿插了优美的勾勒,从而成为不朽之作。
